Having an overview of all current projects is important and easy to visualize in MS Excel. It becomes more difficult if you have to present all current and expected projects, taking into account deadlines and resource availability!

This requires a tool in which you can save the project master data with any number of attributes. Different portfolios have to be put together from different projects. Scenarios have to be played through; e.g. how much resources would be needed if a certain number of projects were commissioned …
